Charge 5 not showing WhatsApp message

Hi there

I’m receiving notifications when I get a WhatsApp message, but not the message content. The only option is a big button to ‘clear’.

 

ordinary texts show the whole message and I’d like the same for WhatsApp’s. 

grateful for any help 🙂

Hi, welcome to the Fitbit Community forums, @SunsetRunner. 

Thank for sharing this information about what you're experiencing with your Charge 5. 

You should be able to see a preview of of the massage, your device shows the first 40 characters of the notification and  you can check your phone for the full message. If you're not able to see anything on the display when you receive the notification, please try restarting your device. 

If you're still having the same problem, please try setting up your Charge 5 as a new device in your account.
