Charge 5 not tracking heart rate

My Fitbit randomly stopped tracking hearbeat, no green LED. I've read the other threads and have cleaned it and used factory reset several times (at least 6) but no luck. Anything else I should try?

Please check if you have the setting for heart rate "on", try to do the following too:

• In the settings of your tracker, turn off the heart rate.
• Sync the device. Please note that syncing is very important, otherwise the changes will not be applied.
• Restart your Charge 5: How do I restart my Fitbit device?
• Sync the device.
• Turn the heart rate back on in the settings.
• Sync the device again.

Same here. Along with poor battery I’m tempted to switch to a different device.
