Charge 5 not tracking mileage of my walks correctly

For the last few weeks, my charge 5 hasn’t been tracking my mileage on walks correctly. It has stopped giving pace at each mile too. The map of my walk looks different to how it did when it tracked correctly. Is this a GPS issue?

Let me help you with the accuracy distance tracked by your Charge 5.

If your device looses GPS signal during an activity, it may arrive that the map be a little inaccurate. Check our help article How accurate are Fitbit devices? > How accurate is my GPS data captured by my Fitbit device?

If you consider the issue is not related to GPS satellite signal access, restart your Charge 5 if you haven't done so:

1. Connect your device to the charging cable.
2. Press the button located on the flat end of the charger 3 times with one-second pause between each press. Then wait 10 seconds or until the Fitbit logo appears.
