There is no service center and charge 5 is not powering on. Is this common with this device? Can something be done?

Sorry to see that you're having trouble getting your Charge 5 to power on. Please let us know what troubleshooting steps that you've tried so far, if any.
Have you tried restarting your device? This help page (<-- click) has the 3 ways to restart your Charge 5.
