Charge 5 not vibrating when receiving a text message

My fitbit 5 will not vibrate when a text message comes through from my android. I uninstalled it, reinstalled it, made sure I have the updated version, it is paired and synced and all the other settings are on. I turned it off and on and restarted my phone and nothing works. It won't vibrate for text messages as well as buzz for when it tells me to get moving on my steps. Something wrong with the fitbit or my phone? I just want the buzzing back.

Note that certain device modes may disable notifications and vibrations:

- Do Not Disturb

- Sleep Mode

These modes will prevent notifications from coming on your watch while active. Ensure they are turned off on both your watch and phone.

I have the same issue as Nina. I used to get buzzing for phone calls and texts and could read the texts on my fitbit. No more. I changed no settings.

What I can recommend to do in case the issue hasn't resolved yet would be to set up the notifications once again.
