My Charge 5 has not been working since May/June of this year. I got a replacement when my original Fitbit (December of 2021) worked for about 2 weeks and then ultimately died on me (black screen but would buzz and that's it). After a lengthy replacement process (the new pebble getting lost in shipping and having to call support to get another sent to me) I finally had a working Fitbit for around a little over a year. Then around May/June of 2023, my battery life suddenly took a dive for the worse. The battery that lasted me about a whole week now would only hold for about 5 hours even if charged to 100%. I proceeded to search the forums to find help and did all the setting changes in the hopes it would help save me.... it did nothing and half the setting I had off already. I hoped that this update maybe it would bring my Fitbit back to working order but unfortunately, it did nothing. Besides the battery everything else seemed to be fine... but no battery life makes this smartwatch absolutely pointless to wear.
This has to be a common issue for others as well? I guess my question is whether I should still contact support with the hundreds of other people experiencing this problem. I know a lot of people get an inadequate answer in the form of a discount code, but maybe they will replace it?

My charge 5 suddenly taking a dive as well. Charged it to 100% yesterday and by this morning it's at 19%.
It's just not worth fighting with it. I don't love it that much. I'm going to try takng it back to Costco but it's probably about 9 months old.
I Hope you get resolution!
