Since I purchased this tracker in January it's been issue after issue. First problem occurred a month after purchase when I experienced the dots on screen, I was able to resolve that issue after a few YouTube videos. Then a few days ago my screen went blurry for like 2 days which was extremely frustrating, then it just started working again (weird). Now I am experiencing a black screen. I charged it yesterday so I know it is fully charged and when I try to restart by holding the button on the charger for the 10 second, it just vibrates, nothing else. At this point I am over fitbit. I upgraded from the charge 4 because the band kept snapping (replaced 3x) and now the 5 is having screen issues. I've been a fitbit user almost 10 years, but now I'm considering a different brand.

I am breaking up with Fitbit. You can do it, too! I am sick and tired of a watch not lasting more than a few months, or as (bad)luck has it, about 1 month longer than the warranty. Yes, Fitbit has decent service and will send a replacement if you are within warranty, but the quality is again and again lacking. I have also been a fitbit user for about 8 years, but this is the last straw. I've had my Charge5 for only 5 months and suddenly the battery will die in a few short hours. Support says to wait for a firmware update. A little reading here in the forums will teach you that they have been saying this for months. No one who wants to track their fitness is willing to wait months for a firmware update, c'mon.
And so I've told myself, and now am telling the world. It's not me, it's you, Fitbit... It's over!!!!!!
