Charge 5 refurbished replacement

I received a replacement Charge 5 under the warranty as it is less than a year old.  Why am I getting a refurbished one?  And if I'm not mistaken I now only have 3 month warranty as it is refurbished? Notice I got was "Your replacement Replacement, New, Charge 5 Platinum Pebble was shipped on June 25, 2024 via UPSN."  I just got it and called and confirmed with customer service that it is in fact a refurbished one.  I was led to believe I was getting a new one and does this confirmation not say "new"?  So why did I get a refurbished one?  I kind of feel ripped off and not happy with this at all.

Hi @gettingitdone50  quite often a replacement is a refurbished unit, per the Limited Warranty information in this page - click to read. It's possible that at the time you needed a replacement that there were no new ones in your color to send you, so the refurbished unit was sent instead.
