I purchased my charge 5 on 2/4/22 because it was highly rated and now I cannot wake up the screen and the battery won't hold a charge. I tried resetting it like the manual says 3 or more times to no avail.. What's going on this tracker is not very old and if this is as long as it lasts I will have to try another brand by a different company. I do not want to have to buy one every 19 months!

Seems many of us are experiencing similar issues with the Charge 5. And other devices as well. I have been a FitBit user since 2015 and am getting really close to abandoning their devices after all these years. The black screen of death is happening too frequently and the support team keeps offering the same old remedies to fix it—which of course I have already tried. Best of luck to you!
