I got my Fitbit back in December 2022 and around a month ago, I accidentally got my Fitbit wet, so I went and put it in some rice. After a week or so, the screen never turned back on after charging. So I assumed it was dead.
But today I thought maybe I should check on it. I charged it up and when it first connected to the charger it showed the Fitbit logo then went black. So I checked my phone to see if it synced to my phone and it did. It syncs and it’s even able to still measure my heart rate. But I still have a black screen.
So I thought about the scenario I was in around 1 or 2 ago years ago, my Fitbit screen randomly went black but it still synced, charged and everything. When that happened I ended up needing a replacement. But before that they suggested I try changing the watch face and resetting it using the charger. So I decided to do it with my watch now.
When I tried resetting the clock face the screen showed the Fitbit logo and a little progress bar. Once the face was switched according to my phone the Fitbit went back to blank. Also when I tried resetting the Fitbit using the charger, all I got was the Fitbit logo then a blank screen.
I don’t know if it’s the end of my Fitbit or if there is anything else I can do to try to save it.
