Charge 5 screen goes blank

Charge 5 screen goes blank even with an almost full charge (97%). I can reset it with the charger but it only works for a bit and goes black again.

Thank you for providing the information about this difficulty with your Charge 5 and for trying to fix it on your own. Sorry to know about what is happening.

Please try to sync the device in the Fitbit app:

  • From the Today tab in the app, tap the devices icon at the top-left corner.
  • Tap Versa 4.
  • Sync Now.

Now, restart the device as indicated here: How do I restart my Fitbit device.  Restarting the device will not delete your data. 

If restarting doesn't resolve the issue, change your clock face. If you manage to solve the difficulty you can go back to the original clock face.
