@Mamma17 have you tried restarting your Fitbit? (Instructions here). That's usually the first thing to try when you encounter unexpected behavior from a device.

Hi there, @Mamma17. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. It's sad to hear that your Charge 5 screen is acting odd and that the time is showing wrong. We'll do our best to help you to sort this out!
I agree with @alexthecat, as a first approach, restart your Fitbit device as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.
Regarding the wrong time, may I ask if you already synced your device? Please note that the time will be wrong if your Charge 5 hasn't synced recently as your Fitbit device uses the time of the device you're syncing with. To make sure your Fitbit device has recently synced, go to your Fitbit app and tap the Today tab, and then tap Devices.

If the issue is still not solved, but you can confirm that your Fitbit device is syncing, I recommend changing your time zone to a completely different one, sync your device, put the correct time and sync again.

Hi MarreFitbit,
The same thing is happening to me. I believe it has to do with the latest update. Yesterday, my fitbit started turning off randomly, then the power drained extremely fast as it kept at it. It ended up doing the black screen thing and I had to reboot it using the cord. Now I have it fully charged and it is showing the wrong time, even after I sync it, but you barely have time to sync it before it turns off and on again.
Is there any fix in the works for this? I depend on my fitbit quite a bit 😞
