My Charge 5’s screen is black. Still tracking movement and syncs with phone but no display on screen at all. I’ve tried rebooting several times, it does not help. What do I do next?

I understand your frustration with the non-responsive screen on your Charge 5. I've dealt with that myself.
The other recommended troubleshooting step to try is changing the clock face. Here are instructions for: Changing Charge 5 clock face If this step is successful, you can go back to the clock face you prefer.
It may take several tries before you either see success or confirm you have a defective device. If you don't have success, the next step is to contact Fitbit support (<-- click link)
