Charge 5 screen went green

I have this charge 5 only one week! Fully charged yesterday green screen today. 
I tried tapping the button on the charger 3 times but no change. 
please advise what to do now!

Sad to hear that your Charge 5 isn't working as expected. Although you've mentioned that you've already tried to restart your device, I'll describe the exact way how to do this, just to make things sure:

 

1.) Connect your Charge 5 to the charging cable which has to be connected to a power source.

2.) Press the button located on the USB plug of the charger 3 times within 8 seconds(!), holding each press for about 1 second(!).

3.) Wait 10 seconds or until the Fitbit logo appears.

 

If that doesn't work for you, I'd suggest contacting Fitbit support to get further assistance:
