hi,
i have a problem with my fitbit charge 5, screen can’t swipe down and left, lost of tap setting, only appear time,date,day. Please assist me on this matter

I have the same problem. Firstly the screen went totally blank and wouldn’t come on even though it could sync on app. Then I read that I should restart it with button on cable so did this multiple times. I also changed the clock display yesterday. It didn’t work at all until just now. The clock has changed and I can change it again and again however I can’t move from the front clock screen. It also flashes and dims/brightens. This happened when I was swimming - I had it in exercise swim mode and was tracking my swim but at some point it when black and the above happened. I’m going to try and restart it yet again. Any help please?

Sad to hear that you're having issues with your Charge 5. Please try to restart your device by closely following these instructions as timing is crucial for this procedure:
1.) Connect your Charge 5 to the charging cable which has to be connected to a power source.
2.) Press the button located on the flat end of the charging cable 3 times within 8 seconds(!), holding each press for about 1 second(!).
3.) Wait around 10 seconds until the Fitbit logo appears on your device's display.
If this won't work for you, I'd suggest contacting Fitbit support to get further assistance as your device might be defective:
