The last week it has been difficult to sync my Charge 5 and even though I wear my Fitbit to bed it has issues tracking my sleep. This seems to be taking place since Google took over. I have never had any problems until then. If this continues I will have to switch to a different type of tracker. Anyone else? Suggestions? Thanks

Hi @curlytop313 make sure you have the latest firmware for the Fitbit and the latest app for your smartphone. Have you tried restarting the device? Often that helps with glitches.
As for Google owning Fitbit, that happened officially in January 2021.
