Got a new fitbit and installed the latest version five days ago. My sleep data, especially stages, using basic (not Premium) are so inaccurate. On nights when it takes me 30+ minutes to fall asleep, the stages show I'm in deep and rem sleep in that time period. And times during the night when I'm awake (I've looked at the clock) the stages show I'm asleep. Anyone else have these issues? Any way to get better sleep data? I have six months free Premium but want to see how the basic works first.

Hello @Barbgb
As it detects you as asleep when you’re not, it might be worth changing your setting to Sensitive rather than normal. That will make it pick up on smaller movements and is more likely to count you as being awake then.
From the Today Screen in your App, tap your profile picture then Activity and Wellness, then Sleep and change your sleep setting to Sensitive.
It might help a bit, I hope.

I couldn't find it on the app on my Android. I did find it on the web dashboard. Thank you for the information - I thought I had it on sensitive, but found it on normal. I've also signed up for the free six month Premium trial so I should see more data after a few days.
