Yesterday, I was missing my sleep data but all my steps were tracking accurately the entire day.  Just woke up now.  Sleep data is back but all my steps that were showing last night at the end of the day, are now all gone.  So frustrating.

There is a massive outage of Fitbit servers currently, the issue is not solved. Everybody has problems right now. Please be patient and wait until the engineers fix the server problem. There is a pink banner with a status update at the top of the forum.

Hi, has your Fitbit started displaying data yet?  My Fitbit suddenly stopped recording data yesterday morning around 5am, & is only displaying steps & no other data, not even heart rate?

is there still an outage as I can’t see any banner?

thanks

There were 2 Fitbit server outages this week: Monday, Feb 6, which seemed to be resolved later in the day, and Tuesday, Feb 7, which was resolved on the same day.

If you are still having issues with your device not displaying data, you might want to try rebooting/restarting your device using the charging cable. If that doesn't fix it, I suggest you contact Fitbit support. They will likely walk you through several troubleshooting procedures. If the troubleshooting procedures don't return your device to normal operation and your device is still within warranty, then they should offer to replace your tracker or give you a discount on a different device.

FYI - I discovered a way to tell if sync issue is due to Fitbit server outage. If you tap on the Premium icon in your phone app and see a message that Fitbit.com is not available, that confirms the issue is Fitbit server outage and you don't need to waste your time trying the troubleshooting procedures.

Did your steps ever come back? I just checked mine and saw that I have 0 steps for last Monday even though I know that was a high step day. All the other days seem to be there.

Thanks for the tips!  Fortunately, I got my step information back.  I just lost sleep data for that one night.
