This is my second Fitbit, which is a charge five. My first one stopped working after I showered with it so when I bought my second one, I decided I would never get it wet three years later I’m on vacation decided to go swimming with it after my second swim it has died. I will never purchase or recommend Fitbit again

Hi there, @Quixstar. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 5 has stopped working after getting wet. We‘re taking your comments and sentiments in regards to our products and services into consideration.
To better assist you, would you mind letting me know the issue with your Charge 5 after getting in touch with water? Did it stop charging? Is the screen blank? Does it sync?
If your device got wet, it’s important to take it off and dry it well before putting it back on. On the other hand, if your device has come into contact with any liquid other than fresh water, you should clean it with fresh water and a soap-free cleanser and dry it with a lint free-cloth.
Regarding your concern, please note that our products are indeed designed and made to last (this goes for each product component) however, there is not an infallible way to ensure that no issues will be present in the long run. Because of this, our Warranty Policy is set into providing as much coverage as we can. For more information about our warranty, see fitbit.com/legal/returns-and-warranty
