Charge 5 stopped working after the update

Downloaded the app upgrade last week and my firbit charge5 is now d

ead. No battery function, no vibration, nothing. This MUST have to do with the upgrade app but Fitbit is not taking responsibility. Unacceptable

Even though I truly appreciate you took the time to come here and express your feelings towards your experience with the Charge 5 and also want to find a resolution to your issue, my best advice is to wait for a response from our Support Team to the last email you sent.  

Since you already have a ticket open with them it'd be easier to continue the follow up on this matter with them directly. They will tell you what's next!

I am not aware of an open ticket.
Customer support has not responded to the querry other than saying my watch
is out of warranty. I asked to have the matter escalated and have not heard
back.
This is not a warranty question. It's an issue due to FitBits recent update
that stopped all these watches from operating.
