Charge 5 stopped working while on a hike

My Charge 5 stopped working while I was hiking on Monday. I thought maybe all the movement for three days had drained the battery, then I thought that maybe it's the sweat, but regardless, I can't get it to respond to the charger. Pushing the button on the charger doesn't work either. I didn't drop it, or hit it against anything. Any tricks I should try before I ask for a replacement? I got it less than a year ago. I'm disappointed!

Hi @akbarhim and @lokic it's interesting that both of you wrote the exact same thing, word for word. Whatever is going on, you need to work with customer support. Restarting the device is always the first step, but since you tried it, get with support.

There are no repairs for these devices.

here are the support contacts I've gleaned over the years on the forums.

when there is someone available, chat is an option. Phone or X/Twitter works well, too.

As @Odyssey13 noted, the wording of the 2 posts are exactly the same.

In addition to these 2 posts, there is a 3rd post, about 3 hours later, with exactly the same wording: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Charge-5/Charge-5-stopped-working-while-on-a-hike/m-p/5616691#M65037...

All 3 are brand new user accounts. 🤔
