My Charge 5 bought only at Christmas stopped working, followed instructions to press button on charger in 3 times, it did start up but stopped working again

Thank you for sharing that you've been experiencing this issue with your Charge 5 and for confirming that you already tried the restart procedure.
Could you please provide a few more details about this problem? Let me know if the screen is completely black, if the device is not charging or if the screen is dim and you can barely see it.
In the meantime, and in addition to the restart procedure you mentioned, please make sure that you've followed the steps provided in this article: Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?
