Charge 5 stopped working

I got a charge 5, let it charge to 100%, when I tried to sync to phone it went through several upgrades and then bricked. 

I requested a replacement from Amazon, and the replacement did the exact same thing. 

What gives?

Yeah they did help me. They sent me a new one and I was delighted but the
new one only worked for about a month. So back to square one
