My Charge 5 was fully charged, new update and working. Setup a workout and it was fine and then suddenly dead and button reset or charge is working. It a year and 3 months old. Is there still a warranty or can anyone tell me where it can be sent to get fixed.

Hi there, @SunsetRunner. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about the issue with your Charge 5. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!
It sounds to me that your Charge 5 ran out of battery. Please note that sometimes a Fitbit doesn’t seem to be charging when actually the issue is that it has become unresponsive (this can happen if the battery has been allowed to discharge completely). I'd recommend putting it on to charge on a charging wire and outlet known to be working. Leave it on the charger for a good two hours, even if it doesn’t seem to be charging.
When it has had two hours, try restarting your Charge 5. I would recommend trying this maybe twice in a row if a first try doesn’t work.
If the above doesn't work, please see Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?
Was my post helpful? Give it a thumbs up to show your appreciation! Of course, if this was the answer you were looking for, don't forget to make it the Best Answer! Als...

I have tried everything mentioned and nothing is working, I can’t log a complaint as there is no option to choose for South Africa

I have just had the exact same experience with my Fitbit Charge 5. I had last synced it first thing this morning where the battery showed 36%. I went out for a long walk and afterwards tapped to see what my steps were the display was completely dark, the LED heart rate lights were out and it was no longer detected on my phone via sync. I attached the charger (with regularly cleaned terminals), the unit gave a short vibration but no battery state screen appeared. I left it attached for over an hour but it was still unresponsive. I attempted the recommended three one second duration button press forced reset several times over the past 30 minutes. I did feel a short vibration each press but nothing else. What options are there?
