Hi, my charge 5 screen has stopped working. It still vibrates, the green lights work on the back, and it is still syncing and collecting data. I have done the following to try to fix it:
The device is 10 months old.
Please let me know what else can be done.

Same exact problem here. I have had a black screen for over a week now, even though statistics are still being tracked. I have used the button on the charger to reset but that doesn't change anything.
So frustrating!!!

Same here, Black screen after swimming. No lights on the back. Software up to date. Synchronisation works. Vibration after reset, but nothing else happens. Frustrating

Same here. I got a black screen after swimming. Its supposed to be waterproof. I reset it and charged it and it came back to life for about 15 minutes. Last week I got a red circle with a white X shortly after beginning a 6 hour hike. The reset button didn't help so I called customer service who I could barely understand. They said there wasn't anything they could do and they'd send me an offer for money off on a new one.
I've had it with Fitbit. I've had a Fitbit since they started and keep upgrading. However, in the last several years no matter what version of the Charge tracker I have, it always stops working within a month of the warranty expiring. And suspiciously not long after they force an update. Then they offer money off on a new one. After having this happen 3 times I realize its a scam. I'm done with playing this game. Company hasn't been the same since Google took them over. The changes to the app make it harder to read the info at a glance. There are so many comments about this on the forum and Google's answer was basically we don't care if our customers don't like the changes. Guess they never heard the saying "if we don't keep our customers happy someone else will." I'm switching to Garmin as of today.

The same issue happened to me today. My Fitbit Charge 5's screen is completely black yet the device seems to works normally: sensors are flashing, the device charges, syncs to my phone.
Did a reset via cable, changed the clock image, synced, etc... nothing worked.
This happened one week after I contacted support due to issues with a dying battery (a few hours of battery life to two days at best). I am switching to a competitor the very first thing after I finish watching the reviews.
Never again, Fitbit. Not for me or my family.
