Hi,
My Charge 5 stopped working all of a sudden and gone blank. I tried all the troubleshooting options nothing worked. Left on charge overnight still nothing. Then I connected back on charge and managed to get the screen but data on the screen was not accurate so I tried to restart it. So logo was coming but then going blank and it was keep doing that until battery died.
Called support and tried a few other things but nothing worked.
It was not turning on properly and not connecting to my phone.
This was my second charge 5 as the first one died similar way after 10 - 11 months of purchase. As it was under guarantee I have received a replacement but the second one died again in similar way after 1 year. So the guarantee period is over and I have no watch right now.
It seems to me that there is something wrong with Charge 5 as I saw similar comments from the users.
It is very unusual for a watch to die in one 1 year time. I would like to get a refund or replacement product to cover my loss, I don’t want to get another charge 5 as I know that won’t last long and I don’t want to go through the same issue.
I had case reference if needed regarding the issue that I reported.
I look forward to hearing from Fitbit support for a potential solution.
Thanks.

Mine too. I bought my Charge5 2,5 years ago. Main reasons to choose for this model is that is had swimming support and I could use it for payments. After 1 year it went dead after my weekly swim, even though I used the water lock.
They replaced it with a new one, but last week after my swim it went dead again. This time the battery ran empty very quickly and couldn’t hold charge anymore. Since yesterday it is completely dead. As it is now (only) 2,5 years after my purchase (but only 1,5 years after replacement) the only thing Google is willing to do is give me some discount code for a new purchase. Total useless as the price has gone up 60% since I bought it.
i have used my Fitbit with lots of joy and already miss it. But I am not going to invest anymore in Fitbit/Google watches that are apparently so unreliable like many other users here have showed.

Mine as well. I was at 70% and took the fitvit off to charge while I showered last night. When I went to put the fitbit back on it was at the logo screen but would not login. Just went to blank screen. Tried the reset, just logo and then black screen. Had it over a year. Have bought 5 or 6 fitbits over the years, each one eventually dies... so frustrating! This one lasted a little over a year. So no warranty
