My Charge 5 has been working very well for a long time. Now, in recent days, not so much.
First, it displayed yesterday's date and a time from some time zone other than mine. All efforts to reset it were ineffective. Now, it shows only a "Pace" screen and I can go no farther. Can't swipe left or right, or up and down. It has a full charge.
Can anyone offer any help? I'd love to be able to do a factory reset, but don't know how. I have read that tapping the side of the charging magnet will do that, but that didn't work for me.
Is this Charge 5 now trash-worthy?
Thanks for you help and advice!
Bill

Good to see you in the community for the first time @baja463.
Thank you for providing the information regarding this difficulty that you are experiencing with Charge 5. Thank you for trying to fix it on your own.
Please keep in mind that your Fitbit device may show an incorrect time if it hasn't synced or has been unpaired from your Fitbit account. Your Fitbit device uses the time of the device you're syncing with. Maybe your Charge 5 just needs to sync to update the time.
If you've tried the above but to no avail, make sure you're not running into syncing issues. For more information, see Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
In addition, take a look at the following help article: How do I change the time on my Fitbit device?
