Hello @Dgramlic Welcome to the community forums.

Thanks for letting us know about this situation with the screen showing the Fitbit Logo on your Charge 5 and the steps taken to try solving it.

My best recommendation would be to follow these steps:

- Try syncing the device, if you have any difficulty with this, check our help article.
- Change the clock face of your device after syncing it, for instructions click here.

Thanks for trying, but I have followed all the steps on a variety of threads, several times. I have also talked with customer support.

This appears to be a long standing issue that I wish I'd known about before my fitbit updated firmware

Mine is doing the same thing. I have tried all the recommended steps by support, but nothing works. After messing with it for weeks, I took it off and tossed it on a shelf to die. Has been sitting dead on a shelf for the last 2 weeks so I hooked it up to charger today and guess what.. still blue Fitbit logo screen of death. But it gets even better - it's still logging steps daily!! LOL!

I've been a diehard FitBit user since 2013, but I will never buy another of their products!! Have switched to a different tracker that offers the same data tracking as the Charge5 for 1/3 to 1/4 of the cost. At least if this one dies, I won't be out as much as I lost with a defunct Charge tracker!

Hello. @kkaboom Thanks for responding back and @kiacker welcome back in the community.

My best recommendation for both of you would be contacting support once again in the case created, and let them know the situation is still happening, I am positive they will offer you a solution depending each situation.

Thanks for your efforts and patience.

Thanks CrisVillaFitbit - I contacted support and they told me to buy a new one. Any other ideas to try?

Thanks CrisVillaFitbit, but I'm tired of messing with the **ahem** thing. Plus I'm already really digging the new tracker I purchased from another company. Has the same features as my Charge5 plus others that I only got thru my premium subscription - and all with a nicer interface/app.

This experience (and talking to friends who are having the same problem) has soured me on FitBit. Doubt I'll ever be back.
