Charge 5 stuck on Fitbit logo

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My charge 5 started flashing the logo yesterday. It was 28% charged. I plugged it in anyway. Tried the rest with the sub button but it hasn’t worked. I followed advice from fitbit staff on other posts here and reset my Bluetooth and unconnected it and turned iPhone off and in - but now can’t reconnect fitbit which is just flashing blue logo at me all the time and the usb reset doesn’t seem to have any impact. Help!

I had similar, but just the logo, not flashing.  I followed instructions as you did, but could not get it to link to phone or reset it.  I left it, and eventually the battery drained, I connected to charger and left it for a bit, then tried the reset, it reset and I could setup the device again with my phone.  It works as long as I don't use it to track exercise LOL!  Every so often it will revert to the Logo screen, and I do the same - leave it, then charge, but it loses stuff like alarms and my fitness shortcuts.  The Charge 5 is an expensive piece of rubbish, I'm just about to send it off for the second replacement, once this one dies, in a year (that's the life of it if you're lucky), I will look at another option.  I have looked at the Charge 6 forum pages and it seems to be no better, Google do another device - more expensive, and I guess they want us all to buy that.........after my experience with Charge 3 & 5, and the way customer support is, I don't think I'll bother!  We should probably all band together and do some sort of mass complaint to trading standards in each country as this device is a rip off and not fit for purpose.

This happened to me last night and is still occurring today. It occasionally shows the incorrect time. It is not logging anything when I wear it either. Worthless when you can't even see it in the app.

Four weeks ago ago, the face went to black and I continued to wear it. I couldn't reset it as advised. However, everything was recorded in the app. Then after four days it began working without any problems.

I, too, am rethinking whether to continue with Fitbit  in the future. It is very frustrating to keep buying Fitbits and not be able to rely on it.
