My fitbit charge 5 appears to be stuck in a constant reboot loop. I cannot factory reset it because it won’t stay on long enough to sync to my phone and it isn’t responding to the charging cable button. It seems several people also have had this issue and that it conveniently occurs once the warranty has expired.

Hi there, @MorganAshleigh. It's nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 5 is not working. I understand your concern, I will do my best to help you with this!
In addition to the steps you've tried, please attempt the following in the order listed:
- From the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap the devices icon at the top-left corner.
- Tap your Fitbit device image.
- Near the bottom of the page, tap Sync Now.
If the above doesn't work, please restart your Fitbit device once again as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? Note: Restarting the device doesn’t delete any data. If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.
Was my post helpful? Give it a thumbs up to show your appreciation! Of course, if this was the answer you were looking for, don't forget to make it the Best Answer! Als...

I cannot sync it as it doesn’t stay on long enough to do that. I have even tried following the factory reset guide, it doesn’t work. It still just continues to flash the logo repeatedly until the battery dies.

Hello @MorganAshleigh
You might consider this unconventional method that a user tried when they had a similar issue with their Charge 5. They were able to restore their device by exposing it to freezer temps. This thread (<-- click link) explains what they did. Although there's no guarantee that this will work in your case, it's worth a shot.
