My fitbit went completely black after getting slightly wet and now stays on stuck on the homescreen and I can’t make connection with it. help!

My fitbit went completely black after getting slightly wet. I’ve restarted with the 3 taps, tried to reconnect but the app can’t find the fitbit. The homescreen keeps flickering and sometimes it shows a circle with a white cross. Tried multiple options to rebooth, saw the battery status quickly but it doesn’t show up anymore. Can anyone help me out?
