Charge 5 suddenly not working

I noticed randomly my charge 5 wasn't working one morning. Hadn't done anything particularly previously, much less water damage. I can't get a response out of it, or a connection. The fitbit logo flashes very briefly when plugging it in, but then goes non responsive again. I do not have a button on my cable either.

Hello @BeauTS 

There should be a small inset button on the USB end of the charging cable that came with your device. This help article has instructions as well as a diagram showing how to restart your Charge 5 (<-- click link).

Based on user posts that I've read, it may take several restart attempts.

If the restarts don't work, the next step would be to contact Support (<-- click link). Complete the prompts until you get to the contact options. 

Personally, I've had better response when I call.

Do you know what firmware your Fitbit Charge 5 is on? It seems that there have been issues with the latest update. Many members on this forum and the subreddit also had their Charge 5 dying out all of the sudden.
