My charge 5 has been displaying the fitbit logo for hours and not tracking my activities. The app tells me the bluetooth is disconnected on the charge 5. This started on 10/10 right after syncing. I have reset multiple times, backed up & deleted my history from the app, uninstalled & reinstalled the app, disconnected, reconnected, resynced. I have completed drained and completely charged the Charge 5. I have reset to factory default. I don't know what else to do. I love my device, but what good is an activity tracker if it doesn't track activity for hours at a time?

Hello @Squirl19
There's one other unorthodox method you can try. A user was able to restore their Charge 5 by exposing it to freezer temps. This thread (<-- click) details what the user did. This method has worked for some, but not all users. Still, it might be worth a try.

Welcome to the forums @Squirl19.
Thank you for sharing with us the information about your Charge 5.
Please, give it a try following these steps:
1. Sync the device in the Fitbit app.
2. Check for available Firmware updates.
Follow the on-screen instructions: Keep the Fitbit device close to your phone during the update. When the update starts, a progress bar appears on the device and in the Fitbit app until the update is complete.
3. Charge the device:
Double-check the connection: Ensure secure connection to the charging cable and that the cable is plugged into a working USB port (computer or UL-certified wall charger).
If these steps don't work:
4. Restart the device: Keep in mind that your data won't be deleted: How do I restart my Fitbit device?
5. Changing the clock face via the Fitbit app can sometimes resolve a black screen issue:

This is most likely related to the most recent Fitbit software update at the start of October (look at app info in your settings). I have the same issues with the logo popping up and my Charge 5 disconnecting, as well as battery life problems since the most recent software update. Nothing fixed it except letting the battery drain completely and charging again. You cannot do a manual reset or any other suggestions Fitbit recommends. This will fix it for a week or so until it happens again. Only change was Fitbit's software update. These updates have ruined my Fitbit in the past, and the only fix is to hope by the next update their developers have actually tested the update fully. Time to switch trackers to a different brand. I don't understand why Google, who does a sensational job with Android, didn't crack down on Fitbit developers when they took over.
