Every time I go to my phone to sync with my Fit Bit 5, it turns off/stops working. I have to put it on the charger each time and it works then, but I can't sync if I'm out somewhere because the FitBit just stops. It also did this while I was checking my heartrate. So, it works if I put on the charger (and it doesn't need charging, it's always over 50% full) but keeps turning itself off!

Hi there, @BobbiSW. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 5 is crashing constantly. I will do my best to help you with this!
If you haven't done so yet, please try the steps below:
- From the Today tab in the Fitbit app, tap the devices icon at the top-left corner.
- Tap your Fitbit device image.
- Near the bottom of the page, tap Sync Now.
If the above doesn't work, please restart your Fitbit device as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device? Note: Restarting the device doesn’t delete any data. If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.
Was my post helpful? Give it a thumbs up to show your appreciation! Of course, if this was the answer you were looking for, don't forget to make it the Best Answer! Als...
