Charge 5 txt message

My Charge 5 does not show me any txt messages I receive or who is phoning me, I have checked al my notifications and settings on my phone and synced it.. had it for three weeks and still not working .. can anyone help?

My, may be a dirty fix, suggestion. 

  • Open the fitbit app
  • Tap the top right to go into account. 
  • Tap your tracker. 
  • Tap notification 
  • Tap the three dots in the top right.
  • Disable notification 
  • Close the fitbit app
  • Restart the fitbit app and setup notifications. 

This will prompt the user to renew any needed permissions and give an error of setting up notifications fails.
