Charge 5 unresponsive

Charge 5 became unresponsive last night.  It was at 75% as of 2 days prior.  This AM, tried charging device, but device still did not respond.  Tried using 3 pulse restart method a few dozen times using different USB outlets and wall adapter.  During 2 attempts, the device vibrated, but otherwise there was no other response and no display change.  I tried forgetting on bluetooth and on the FitBit app.  My phone and the app are not longer able to detect the device on bluetooth at all.  This has happened a number of times in the past, but was always fixed after performing the 3 pulse restart method a few times.

Yes I have exactly the same problem. Charge 5 is only 16 months old but apparently not covered by warranty in Australia after 12 months. I could not buy another Fitbit product without better support.

I suggest you contact Fitbit support. They will walk you through several troubleshooting procedures. Once they confirm none of the troubleshooting procedures return your device to normal operation, they will send you an offer. If they confirm your device is still under warranty, the offer will be a replacement or a discount on a different device. If your device is out of warranty, from the posts that I've read the offer will be a discount on a replacement.

Note: the discount applies to the full price of the device, even if the device is on sale on the Fitbit website.

I had the same issue of a non-responsive Charge 5. My replacement arrived in about a week and so far it's working fine.
