Charge 5 unresponsive

The fitbit Charge 5 had 65% charge when I left to play tennis this morning.  When done playing, I tried to check the display.  No response.  Got home and plugged in charger.  The fitbit pulsates and has been doing so for nearly an hour.  Display is still black.  Checked and cleaned terminals. Tried different power sources. Still pulsating.

There is no button on the charging cable to try a reset.  What are me options?

Hi @TheV and warm welcome to the Community!
I appreciate your message, and I'm sorry to hear that your Charge 5 is unresponsive.

This is not the experience we want for our customers, and I understand your feelings about this situation.

I'll be glad to suggest you some advices.

In order to restart your device, you'll need to:

  1. Connect your device to the charging cable.
  2. Press the button located on the flat end of the charger 3 times with one-second pause between each press. Then wait 10 seconds or until the Fitbit logo appears.

(The circle shows the position of the button).

Another way to restart your device is to unplug it, wait a second, and plug it back in. Repeat this process 3 times in an 8 seconds interval, and then wait 10 seconds until the device restarts.

After that, please try to change the clock face as explained here: How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?
