Was very happy with my Charge 4 for a few years. When it died, couldn't replace it, so had to go with the 5. Everything about the Charge 5 sucks:
The gentle wake feature doesn't work. FitBit is aware of this problem, yet hasn't figured out how to fix.
Touch screen only control jumps all over the place. So just daily wear will pop you into timers you didn't start, pay options you didn't go to, etc. And because there is not "return to home" button, the user must swipe back through/out of wherever the device wandered to, just to see the time.
There are multiple other inconvenient, non-user friendly problems with this new model. Not sure what developers were thinking, but the "new/improved" notion is a total failure on all counts.
