Has anyone else had their Charge 5 stop working because of water?
I have only swam with this fitbit once and the depth was only a few feet. I have only had it in the shower to clean the band a few times. If it is water resistant to 50 meters how does it have water inside?
I can't sync it to the app. I can't tell if it's powered on or not. I can't reset it with the charging cable either. I can also see visible water droplets in the first small rectangle above the charging pads.
Also how is water not a label? I was hoping to have these labels, but apparently not:
water, water resistance, water resistant, water damage, damage, shower, swim, sweat
Why Fitbit.....why?

Hi, @MacGyver4th , if you can see moisture inside your Fitbit then please do not plug it in to charge until it has dried completely. Please put it in a bag of uncooked rice for 72 hours or so. The rice should absorb the moisture, and with luck your Fitbit will recover.
Once it has has had a period in rice, and assuming you can no longer see any water droplets, only then plug it in to charge. Give it a couple of hours charging, even if it does not seem responsive (but obviously if it gets hot disconnect and put it back in rice).
Once it has had two hours charge, then try the restart procedure. Instructions here . With luck it will come back to life and all will be well.
Water resistance on the Fitbit can deteriorate over time due to exposure to cosmetics, sun cream, etc. Also, even in shallow water the Fitbit can be subject to significant pressure if you have been diving, jumping in, etc.
If your Fitbit is still under warranty (1 year in most areas, 2 years in Europe) then do get in touch with Fitbit Customer Support on Contact.Fitbit.com to discuss this issue with them.
Unfortunately, no one on this forum can answer your question about labels!

Thank you, Julia.
I currently have it in a sealed box with some desiccant. In about 7 hours, it will have been drying for 24 hours. Also, I didn't know it had the water when I first connected it to the charger. I thought the batter had died.
How did this happen if the device is water resistant to 50 meters? People shouldn't be swimming with this model if it is susceptible to a little water.
