I have had a REPLACEMENT Charge 5 less than 2 months. It will not return to the Home Screen. It does not respond to double taps. Pressing the button on the charger three times makes no difference either. My first Charge 5 died completely a few months after I had this exact same problem. Very dissatisfied with this product! Do you have a way to solve this problem?

Sad to hear about you're experiences with your Charge 5. You mentioned that you've already tried pressing the button on the charger three times to restart your device. As there is a certain pattern required to perform the restart, it would be nice if you would repeat it following these steps while keeping an eye on the timing:
1.) Connect your Charge 5 to the charging cable which has to be connected to a power source.
2.) Press the button located on the USB plug of the charger 3 times within 8 seconds, holding each press for about 1 second(!).
3.) Wait 10 seconds or until the Fitbit logo appears.
If this doesn't work for you I'd suggest contacting Fitbit support to get further assistance as you replacement unit is just about 2 months old:

I tried this suggestion again, as I had previously done yesterday. It does not help. The home screen never appears, nor does the fitbit logo. The only screens I can get are the yellow ones that say "Tap to Pause", and the screen that says today's date with the time. That's it. This is the second Charge 5 that I have had this problem with. Is there not a way to fix this???

Thanks, @noshdome363. What happens if you tap to pause? Your device seems to be tracking something for a good 19 hours. In the top section you see a tracked distance of 3.26.

Yes, it has shown that screen for over 19 hours. If I tap, it cycles through a variety of screens such as zone minutes, heart rate, # of steps, miles, pace....But it will not return to the home screen.

Can you swipe up, down or sideways to get to a different screen, @noshdome363?

If I swipe up or down, I can get to one more screen. Swiping left or right sometimes works, but usually not.
