Charge 5 without side button

Honestly,  I don't know why you ever did away with the side button which easily returns the user to the home screen.  The swiping just doesn't work well.  I have tried to use the timer and then can't get back to the home screen.  I have tried to navigate from the home screen to other screens and it is so touchy that end up "inside" one of the prior selections instead of getting to the selection I need.  My company subsidizes purchasing these Fitbits but I'm about to provide them with feedback that they need to subsidize something else -  like Apple Watch.  Getting rid of the home button on the side of the Fitbit was a bad idea.

Totally agree with you. I also miss it for charging. The magnetic way to do it just took me ten minutes for it to work.

Agree. There's just something about the simplicity of pressing a button that makes you feel bit better, too. The double tapping rarely works as expected and swiping is just kind of bleh. Maybe things will be better in a few more releases.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Shgirl and thanks for getting back to us @Cosworthlady@KevinDuganJr. Thank you for your feedback regarding Charge 5 not having a button.

I understand how frustrating this could be and appreciate your opinion. The best place to post your query is the Product Feedback board. Please take a moment and give us your comments.

Dear @AndreaFitbit ,

Just to know, can you please mention some of the suggestions that in the past year have been considered by Fitbit?

Because honestly speaking i don't see much use of the Product Feedback board.
