Charge 5 screen keeps going black

Hello, I recently faced Charge 5 black screen issue. I could sync my Fitbit with the mobile app during the black screen. I was not able to fix this after trying all the methods available to fix it. After a few days, I got `update tracker` option in my Fitbit app and I did that and finally, managed
to fix the issue and see my tracker working as expected. I was hella happy. Unfortunately, my happiness was short-lived and I faced the issue again within 48 hrs, this time I was able to see the charging screen when I put it in charge.
I saw it is charging at 16% and the screen started working after charging. I was skeptical this time. But then I started facing this issue regularly, basically, it gets to the black screen frequently and the battery has gone for a toss. All in all, it has become unusable now.
Can someone here help me, whether there is any solution to restore my tracker to its original state? Is it possible to change the battery to fix the black screen issue permanently?

Hi there, @s10r. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Charge 5 before reaching out. I understand how you must be feeling.

To better assist you, please make sure you've restarted your Fitbit device as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device?. If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

Regarding your inquiry about the battery, p
lease note that the battery on your Charge 5 is not replaceable nor interchanged. We as Fitbit do not do it or suggest to do it as it could permanently damage your Fitbit device.

OK, so I have now got your attention.

To explain the problem clearly, last week I faced a black screen problem. There is already a discussion on the same here: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Charge-5/Charge-5-black-screen/td-p/5154973.

As you can see, several users are affected by this issue. I did try three pulse restart method and changing the clock face. None of which worked for me. Fortunately, unlike several others, I could sync my Fitbit with my mobile app and I could fix the issue upon installing the firmware update. (Lucky, I guess: I thought at this point). Little did I know, I would face the same issue regularly. Upon fixing this issue around 3 days back, I have faced the same issue twice after that. (fixed by putting the tracker on charging and using three pulse restart method). At this point, I see no permanent solution.

Another major issue, as pointed out by several people on the above-mentioned thread; the battery has gone for a toss now. Eariler, I could easily use my tracker upto 7 days minimum. But now, not so sure. I fully charged my tracker, next day it went black screen and when I put my charger battery was at 36%.

Have you guys found what's causing this issue? I have not seen the reason behind this issue even after going through several posts on the same issue.

Hope you take this issue seriously and provide a permanent solution to the community.
