I have a fitbit charge 5, and it will not charge. I plug it in, and sometimes it displays 1% before going black again.
Prior to this it had a brief period of time (roughly 3 days) where the battery would die in 1 day.
If anyone can help that would be great thanks!

Hi, @iweed1138, welcome to the community, may I suggest you review this article - Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging? - Fitbit Help Center
FYG I use rubbing alcohol (Isopropyl 70%) to clean my Fitbit and detail the contacts with a cotton bud. If you do not have rubbing alcohol at hand warm soapy water will work, make sure you dry your Charge 5 before attempting a charge. I also note that you may need at least 60 minutes on a live USB socket before an exhausted battery shows signs of life.
You do not mention how long you've had your Charge 5, sadly the batteries in wearables have a limited life span dictated by the number of charge/discharge cycles.
Let us know how you get on by posting here again.
Cheers

Hey thanks for the help!
Unfortunately the rubbing alcohol didn't work. I've had it for probably 2 - 3 years now, I don't know if that's long enough to cause it to die. I'll contact fitbit support next.
Once more, thanks for the help!
