Charge 5 won't charge

I have tried to reset it multiple times with 2 different cords from multiple outlets, it will show the logo for a split second, sometimes show 1% and charging, but it will never get above that number.

I have also tried to thoroughly clean the connections, still no dice.

It will not synch to allow me to change out the clock face...

Hi there, @b8rchid. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Charge 5 before reaching out.

To better assist you, please confirm that you've restarted your Charge 5 as described here How do I restart my Fitbit device?

If the restart doesn't work and you haven't felt a vibration on your Fitbitdevice during this process, confirm that you've tried the following steps:

  • Clean the charging contacts on the back of your Charge 5 using the instructions in How do I clean my Fitbit device?
  • If the error "insufficient power source" appears on your device's screen, remove other devices plugged in to your power source, or plug your device in to another source.
  • Try a different USB port or a UL-certified wall charger.
  • Check the alignment and try reconnecting your device to the charging cable. For more information, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  • Restart your Fitbit device once again. For more information, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?

If none of the above works, please follow @Talahthas's advice and chat with us online or give us a call. Click here to get connected.

Welcome to the Fitbit community, @b8rchid!

Sad to hear that you're having issues with your Charge 5. As you've already tried to reset your device to get it back to normal operation without success, I'd suggest contacting Fitbit support to get further assistance:
