My Charge 5 won’t charge past 4%. It shows that it’s connected to the charger on the screen and the lightning bolt shows in the battery, but it won’t charge.

Welcome back to the Fitbit Community forums, @KellyC2

Thank you for the information provided regarding your Charge 5 that is not charging.

If this is related to the battery, please make sure that you've followed the steps provided in this article that have been useful for other people experiencing something similar.

If the device is charging, but the screen is completely black, make sure that you've also completed the restart procedure using the charging cable, as described here, and you can also try changing the clock face option to check if you're able to see anything on the display.

I'll be around.

Hello,

I tried everything outlined in the material you sent. The watch vibrates upon connecting to the charger but unlike this morning when I could still see the screen, the screen now remains black. I tried changing the clock face, and nothin shows up on the watch. The watch continues to sync in the app while plugged in, but the battery symbol no longer shows a lightning bolt, just a red x.

Thanks
