My fitbit charge 5, purchased May 2022 is having a slow death. Everything seems to work fine, except battery won't charge, as it's slowly draining. Started about 5 days ago. Bought new official fitbit charging usb as I thought it went bad, but still same issue. Tries to charge for a second or two then stops charging. Actually I get a message to check battery charger on the fit bit. Plugged the USB in various chargers, outlets, same result. I've tried cleaning terminals on all, restarted to no avail. Spoke with customer service, still no help or able to resolve issue. Fitbit is down to 15%. Any other thoughts or help. Disappointed it's a little over a year old.

My Charge 5 quit mid-day with plenty of charge and has been dead since.  Tried all recommended solutions and no luck.  It's 13 months old so I guess it's finished, and I'm finished with Fitbit. Built in GPS was never reliable anyway.  Disappointed, going to try a Garmin.
