I just got a new Charge 5 and it kept freezing and timing out on the firmware download. I was able to reset it but it won't let me download a watch face or any apps. It times out of all of them. What could be wrong??

Usually restarting your Fitbit will resolve most issues like the ones you are describing. You will not lose any data doing so. Look here to see how to restart your particular Fitbit properly:

I'm not sure what phone you have @Medcats, with android, move the Fitbit app to the background or the firmware update fails when the screen turns off.
