SpO2 accuracy in Charge 5

Hi all,

I purchased a Charge 5 a couple of weeks back and i noticed that over the last few days the SpO2 reading is stuck at 95% - even when I'm not wearing it.

I've tried restarting both the watch and the mobile, but no luck unfortunately.  Has anyone else experienced this issue or is it a faulty product?

Thanks,

Billy

Hello @v_raidenus

The SpO2 only takes readings when you're asleep, so you only get one number per day.  It's not continually measuring and you can't measure on demand, unfortunately.  That's why the number appears 'stuck'.

I hope that clears up the mystery a bit.  Sorry it doesn't measure as actively as you were hoping.

Thanks for the quick response! Makes sense. It would be great to track variability throughout the day, similar to HR.

The last few days it has been showing as 95%, but will look out for any variance over night sleep.

Thanks again,

Billy

Usually the SPO2 goes to zero or dashes at midnight before sleep. Mine hasn’t done that for 3 days and is stuck on 91%. It was changing each night, but to notice it’s locked and doesn’t go to — like sleep does seems wrong.
