Charge 5 won't pair or sync

Charge 5 would not sync earlier today and after trying all troubleshooting tips, turning blue tooth off/on, uninstalling/reinstalling app etc I finally unpaired my Charge 5. Reinstalled app again, but now I cannot even get the Fitbit to pair. At this point I have been trying for about 3 hours to resolve the problem and can't.  This Fitbit is only 2 months old and until today I have had no issues. Help please.

Thanks for the information provided about this inconvenience with your Charge 5. 

If you haven't done so already, and if you're still having this problem to set up your device with your account again, please make sure to follow the steps listed in this article, Why can't I set up my Fitbit device? 

If you were able to set it up  but you're still not able to sync, let me know if you already tried all the steps listed here to resolve syncing problems, and make sure to check the compatibility requirements listed here and to keep the Fitbit app updated to the latest version available.

Thank you for responding. I was finally able to get my fitbit to reset and then was able to pair & sync late yesterday. So far so good.
