Charge 5 won't pair

Been through most threads here trying to connect my wife's Charge5 to her phone, which is stuck in some odd parallel dimension, displaying a time and date that's nowhere near close to the current. 

 

After spending all this time on the problem, I'm frustrated and ready to go buy her a new tracker elsewhere. Is there any hope for this thing?!? 

 

Update: Mods please delete this, because right after I posted, her watch connected. Coincidence?

I am having similar problems my fitbit was fine until today it sync at 9.30am then wouldnt sync.   I have tried everything including trying to re-pair which it wont do keep teling me various things to do nothing works.   




What is happening?????
